e-Messenger Consulting Corp., a Michigan
S corporation.

BizBooksPlus offers West Michigan businesses order and delivery of business books and magazines, books and magazines for leisure or pleasure reading, office supplies, business gifts, and travel packages. Other products and services will be added as they make sense for this specialized market.

We encourage you to tell us if there are subjects you would like us to cover in the books and magazines we offer, or if there are products and services you’d like us to add. We will examine all serious suggestions and let you know if we will be able to integrate them into our business.

We have created BizBooksPlus.net for a couple of reasons. One is fairly obvious – to make money. There are various book stores in West Michigan, but none really serves the business community. Sure, they have business sections and they will order books for you. But what if you need something they don’t have on hand or you don’t really know what you’re looking for? You’re pretty much on your own. This Web site can handle either. If you know the book title or author, you can very likely find it via BizBooksPlus.net. If you don’t know either but know the topic area we can try to help you locate it. In fact, if you know any of it but simply don’t want to bother with ordering, we can do that, too.

Another reason we created BizBooksPlus.net is as an experiment. Two experiments wrapped into one, actually. First, I wondered how well an online business book store would work in a regional market like West Michigan. Is there enough need for it and can it prosper by also serving communities outside the main metropolitan areas? Second, as part of e-Messenger Consulting’s search engine performance enhancement services, this site will test different performance strategies that we can use to help our clients enhance their Web sites. The second experiment will help support the first.

I say “We.” At the time of our launch, “we” is actually me. I use “we” in the corporate sense or, in terms a newspaper can understand, the “editorial we.” If BizBooksPlus.net does well I hope to hire staff, which will allow the Me to become a real We.
